The global pandemic – Covid 19 virus is a threat to humanity across the globe. People were forcefully locked down and the medical experts encouraged the immediate use of PPE supplies to stop the spreading of the virus. Thousands of businesses and lives were affected. As a result, COVID 19 development has increased the level of poverty and caused financial embarrassment to millions of families.As part of Careerbridge’s goals and commitment to help the needy, and bring hope to the disadvantaged citizens who were experiencing locked down at home, we organized a charity palliative comprised of raw food (rice, beans, and vegetable oil worth of 5,000 dollars. This was shared among 500 families across two major towns in, Okitipupa local government of Ondo State, Nigeria. We further reach out to some group of old men and women who are above 80 years of age to benefit from the palliative.
