Profile of Modupe Olowdahunsi

Modupe is a US-based philanthropist. The Founder/President of Careerbridge Foundation, a registered charity organization in Pennsylvania. Careerbridge was formed in 2011 out of a passion to reduce the mortality rate and preventable death.  Modupe focuses on programs that restore dignity and reduce poverty. He initiated several programs, which include charity clinics, medical simulation conferences, and rural community outreaches which have save thousands of lives and benefited more than 15,000 including young and adults. 

As a community leader, Modupe’s top priority is to develop programs that turn thousands of youths into service providers. He’s the Founder of Careeredge institute in Nigeria, a center for entrepreneurship programs and mentorship. In 2020 the institute held a free entrepreneurship program that trained 40 youths in various capacities.

As a health advocate, Modupe is a Co-Founder of Medbridge. Modupe worked with the top concerned Nigerians abroad in 2016 to facilitate a medical simulation conference that brings major stakeholders together in collaboration with the Federal government to discuss the problems and hurdles in the healthcare practices and to adopt and implement medical simulation technology into the African healthcare education system.

Modupe has 15 years of working experience in the private and public sectors. He joined the public sector in 2002, Debt Management Office as a Confidential Secretary where he served meritoriously for over 3 years. Modupe worked with A. J. Kay Consultant as a Manager and later a program specialist in 2014.

Modupe was nominated for a humanitarian service award organized by Ikale Progressive, Abuja in 2019.

Modupe is a member of the Pacesetters Club and secretary to the Igbotako Diaspora Family and Ikale Community of Philadelphia.  

Modupe graduated from the Polytechnic Ibadan where he studied secretarial studies in 1999. Modupe has attended several training and conferences and presently working with Success Rehabilitation, a traumatic brain injury company as a counselor. Modupe is happily married to Ibukun Olowodahunsi and blessed with two girls, Iyanuoluwa, Oluwafeyikemi, and a boy Oluwaseun.
