Careerbridge Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 tax-deductible organization registered in 2017 with headquarters in Pennsylvania, United States and a branch Office in Maitama, Abuja, Nigeria. The vision is led by Careerbridge CEO, Modupe Olowodahunsi, who has deep concerns about the lack of skills among youths, illiteracy, and poor healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
Careerbridge programs are grouped into three major categories. These include, medical, empowerment and education program. The programs are well researched and targets to bring immediate results, hope, and high performance in a relatively short time for people with low socioeconomic status in Africa.
Careerbridge Achievement
■ 2017 & 2018 designed a mobile app for patient registration. A pre-exercise program that helps Careerbridge identify patient medical history and treatment plan.
■ 2018 – 71 free surgeries in Nigeria conducted in Nigeria. This includes 50 cataracts and 20 herniorrhaphy surgery. Careerbridge paid for the patient thyroidectomy procedure in the Federal Medical Center, Ondo State, Nigeria
■ 2017 & 2018 – dispensed medication/drugs that worth $8,000 dollars at the two medical outreaches in Nigeria. The outreach covers 7 underserved communities in Ondo State, Nigeria.
■ 2018 – Secured a facility for Careerbridge Center for Diabetes and Hypertensive Care in Ondo State, Nigeria.
■ Partners: Vitamins angels, Communitywide Charities, Catholic Medical Mission Board, Henry Schein Care Foundation, Direct Relief, Computer Ministry, Supplies Overseas, Map International, Americares, Scanlan International, Inc., GE Elfun Computer Rehab of Schenectady Inc., Partners for world health, sew vac direct, and AFYA Foundation etc.
■ 2019 – Careerbridge in collaboration with Communitywide Charity proposed to hold IJEBU JESA Free Medical Outreach 2019.
